This recognition means the world to us, especially because Beverly’s story is one of resilience, healing, and love. To see it reach such a wide audience is something we never could have imagined when she first came into our lives.
Beverly’s Journey
Beverly spent her entire life in a cage as a breeder dog. When she developed a prolapsed uterus and was no longer considered useful, she was dumped. She arrived terrified and underweight, with cage feet, hair loss, and a body that showed the long term effects of neglect.
Even with everything she had been through, she met us with the softest spirit.
From day one she gravitated toward Jeremy, and the two of them formed an instant connection. What started as a quiet, cautious cuddle turned into a bond that has touched millions of people. We began sharing their moments online and the world fell in love right along with us.
The Daddy’s Girl Series
What began as a gentle daily routine has turned into a full video series that has taken off in a way we never expected. Several of the Daddy’s Girl videos have already reached millions of views, with two of them surpassing three million each. People from all over the world are cheering Beverly on as she learns what comfort, affection, and safety feel like.
Seeing her blossom, trust, and heal has been one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives. Sharing that journey has brought so much joy to our community.
Why the Newsweek Feature Matters
Having Beverly’s story told on a national platform is incredibly meaningful, not just for us but for rescue awareness overall. There are thousands of dogs like Beverly who are still waiting in shelters or living in breeding situations. If her journey inspires even one person to adopt, foster, or support a rescue, then her story is already creating real change.
We are so grateful that Newsweek saw the heart in her journey and wanted to share it.
What’s Next
We will continue posting more of Beverly’s transformation and her sweet moments with Jeremy. Her world keeps expanding and we feel lucky every day to witness her growth. There is so much more love, healing, and happiness to come, and we can’t wait to bring everyone along.
Thank you for being here, for supporting rescue stories, and for loving Beverly as much as we do.
Love,
Lindsay, Jeremy, Beverly, and Billie
